Shipping

As a small, family run and owned business, we take pride in our ability to provide the best service to our customers.  You are our number one priority, and we will do our best in every way to provide you your items as quickly as possible.

 For your convenience, we provide an array of shipping options through our two shipping providers: USPS and UPS. (Expedited shipping is only available on items that can ship within 24-hrs and are in-stock.) We ship throughout the United States and Canada (For international shipment inquiries, please contact us at info@pointerhillstore.com). 

 When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

 Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

 Please allow 1 - 3 business days for us to process your order. 

 

 Returns Policy

We are dedicated to providing our customers the best possible service. 

If you choose to return an item for refund or exchange, it must be done within 30 days of outbound shipment.  Everything must be in its original packaging with manufacturer tags. Please make sure that your items haven’t been worn or washed and are in new condition, with no rips, marks, scuffs, stains, odors, or other signs of wear.  If you are trying on a pair of boots, we recommend that you do so on a carpeted surface. 

You are responsible for shipping charges on all returns. (We will not accept postage-due returns).  However, we will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). If you choose to exchange your item, we will cover the cost of shipping the replacement item back to you.   

Shoe or boot returns, as well as other boxed items, must be in the original, undamaged packaging.  We ask that you please do not tape or attach postage directly to the shoe or boot box, but instead to the shipping box.  

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Exchanges

Exchanges are accepted for up to 30 days from the time of outbound shipment, and follow many of the same rules as returns (above).  We will place your new order for you within 2 weeks of receiving your return.  A confirmation email will be sent out to you at that time.

 Exchanges can only be made when an item is available.  Otherwise, we will issue store credit.  Buyer pays shipping and handling on exchanged items.
